I spent my teenage years with my friends at Six Flags World’s of Adventure/ Geauga Lake. We all had season passes, and our moms took turns dropping us off between 2003-2006, when we could finally drive. We used to absolutely lap the coasters there and had no idea how incredible of a coaster lineup we had in our own backyard.
I met an ACE member in line for Raging Wolf Bobs who told me how he traveled the country to ride coasters. I promised myself I would do that one day, and happily can report I am now an ACE member and am traveling the country. I will always miss Geauga Lake, where I rode it my first real coaster with the Big Dipper and first inverting with the Double Loop in 1998. I’m grateful for the memories and will always be sad I can’t have one last ride on the Villain.
